2027 Summer Camps

Each summer, Unicorn Theatre offers 7 individual weeks of hands-on Musical Theatre Camps for youth entering Grades 2 through 7. Campers rehearse and perform a short musical each week—every camper participates on stage!

• Location: Bay Community Centre (11 Station Road, Head of St. Margaret’s Bay)

• Dates: July 5 – August 20, 2027 (To be confirmed Spring 2027)

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Registration: Opens May 2027 (Forms and 2027 camp fees will be posted at launch)

Campers are divided into two age streams: Grades 2–4 and Grades 5–7. Each group puts on its own short musical at the end of the week. Please note that age groups are firm; we cannot make exceptions. All campers take part in the weekly show. We do not offer non-performing "Junior Volunteer" or backstage-only roles for summer camps.

AM / PM Extended Child Care

Pre-registration for Child Care is required during camp signup.

• Morning Care: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 9:00 am

• Afternoon Care: Monday – Thursday | 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

• *No afternoon care on Fridays (Parents pick up campers following the Friday afternoon show).

Child care is supervised by trained camp staff. Pick-ups past 5:00 pm are subject to additional late fees.

Camp Cancellation Policy

Our summer camp cancellation policy has been updated to support timely cancellations and efficient use of wait-list spaces. This helps reduce associated costs and increases access for youth on the waitlist.

Refund Schedule

• 100% refund if cancellation is received by Monday at 12:00 noon, two (2) or more weeks prior to the start of the registered camp.

• 50% refund if cancellation is received by Monday at 12:00 noon, less than two (2) weeks but at least one (1) week prior to the start of the registered camp.

• No refund will be issued for cancellations received after Monday at 12:00 noon the week before the camp starts. In this case, the registration fee is forfeited.
